Christmas Party Logistics
December is the month for celebration! Our team are supporting party planners and party suppliers as the festive season gets into full swing. We have been delivering and collecting to and from some of the most prestigious London venues, including the Shard and the Grosvenor House Hotel.
This year we have been transporting to:
- Some cool and quirky bars
- Exclusive hotels
- A wide range of restaurants
- Party venues all over London
Setting up…
Party Logistics rely on our vehicles being at the loading bay / goods entrance / access doors at the right time, often having collected equipment the night before or earlier that day. Sometimes we will have collected everything in advance and held in our storage facility overnight, but with hire equipment, we will be running multiple pick-ups on the day. Depending on the volume of equipment we can use our larger vans for collecting everything and then transferring to our trucks so we can deliver in one dedicated vehicle. When access is an issue we always have the option of using a number of large vans as opposed to a truck.
Pack Down
When the evening has come to an end and the last of the guests has left the venue our team are on hand to help with the breakdown and loading out to take staging, glasses, AV, chairs and tables back to suppliers / hirers.
Some corporate parties will be themed with full backdrops, sets with full lighting rigs, staging and sound systems. Our larger vehicles are having a busy month.
Our 24hour offer means our transportation team are available in the early hours of the morning, although hard work in the small hours at least the roads are generally clear. We’ve also been on-hand for the last minute rush when something is missing, or not working and needs replacing quickly, or when a venue has to be cleared and extra vehicles are needed urgently.
